Remember the '90s? You know, Ed Bundy, Hulk Hogan, and Hootie & the Blowfish? Well, Darius Rucker & Co. are back, but their new CD is strictly last millennium. It's not offensive, but perhaps a bold creative leap would take them out of their MOR comfort zone. This is the kind of CD that exists within the context of no context, a tastefully dull set of lovelorn sentiments and cheerful choruses. Rucker's muscular baritone deserves better material.
