Something bad happened during an Army Special Forces trainees maneuver in Panama, and most of the team is dead. It's up to a rogue ex-ranger (John Travolta) and a by-the-book captain (Connie Nielsen) to uncover the truth in this depressingly empty action thriller built from an inconsequential progression of Rashomonic conflicting narratives. Who's really dead, and why? Who cares!
