Having long established their indie-rock bona fides (and, some might argue, their rightful claim to the genre's throne), the Hoboken-based troika has concocted a refreshing cocktail by tossing equal parts Alex Chilton, Gilberto Gil, and early YLT into a blender and pressing ''puree.'' From the wistful charms of ''Today Is the Day'' to the kaleidoscopic swirl of ''Let's Be Still,'' it's clear that the seasonal orb of the title is not the fireball of a scorching August noon but the warm disc of a lazy June evening.
