An unreflective young hustler and a suicidal bohemian singer meet not-so-cute when she spies him servicing a client in a well-lit Buenos Aires ATM vestibule. Soon he's teaching her how to walk the walk, eager to let her in on the ''power'' of knowing what she's worth. It's a doomed love story in more ways than one: She can't separate sex from love; he's unable to love. And a film school's worth of visual tricks and mopey pretense doesn't make that seen-it-before premise any fresher.
