Send the Marine

Josh is voted off ''American Idol.'' Kimberley Locke was the other contestant in the bottom two

Lance Corporal Joshua Gracin was honorably discharged from ''American Idol'' Wednesday night. The 22-year-old Marine was the low finisher among the four finalists in this week's Bee Gees-themed competition, in which 22 million callers voted.

Kimberley Locke was the other finisher in the bottom two. Still, the judges (and many fans) have felt that Gracin, who's a little bit country and a little bit rock & roll, was never in the same league vocally as Locke and the other remaining finalists, Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. Nonetheless, she's nearly been voted off the show several times, and next week,  it may be her turn to go.
