MOVIES Erika Christensen, Lauren Ambrose, Mandy Moore, and Alicia Witt are in talks to play the four hottest sisters ever in The Upside of Anger, a family drama costarring Joan Allen and Kevin Costner and directed by Mike Binder (The Mind of the Married Man).... Maggie Gyllenhaal could go from Secretary to Criminal, a remake of the 2001 Argentine crime drama Nine Queens, costarring John C. Reilly and Diego Luna.... Jackass hotdogger Johnny Knoxville is developing an as-yet-untitled comedy about L.A. hot dog vendors; Jerry Stahl (Permanent Midnight) may write the script.

MUSIC Tongue-wagging hard-rockers KISS are launching Kiss Records; the label will debut, naturally, with a two-disc KISS live set.

TELEVISION The Eyes of Nye is nigh: Kids' host Bill Nye the Science Guy is prepping Eyes, a family science show, for PBS this fall.... There'll be a whole lotta shakin' going on -- four hours' worth -- in 10.5, a just-OK'ed NBC miniseries about a monster West Coast earthquake.
