BOX OFFICE

JIM DANDY

Jim Carrey's talents go beyond boosting Jennifer Aniston's cup size and making dogs pee in the toilet: Bruce Almighty turned the actor back into a box office god. With an $85.7 million take during the four-day holiday weekend, Bruce earned the second-biggest Memorial Day haul ever (after The Lost World: Jurassic Park). Over in Zion, The Matrix Reloaded will soon become the highest-grossing R-rated flick of all time, but its 50 percent drop made the $300 million mark a long shot. Still, no one's more bummed than The In-Laws. Not only did Albert Brooks have to don a thong for the comedy, but its $9.2 million earnings were no laughing matter. Meanwhile, the little bird documentary that could, Winged Migration, broke the top 20.
