The concrete bed of the Los Angeles River has been the site of many a memorable chase scene (Grease and Repo Man come to mind), but T2's joyride stands out. T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), in his attempts to babysit impetuous young John Connor (Edward Furlong), has to pilot a motorcycle, save the kid, and keep the metal-melding T-1000 (Robert Patrick) at bay with his nifty rotary-cocking rifle — all at the same time. Ahnuld does so with aplomb, emerging unscathed from the film's kajillionth explosion. He's back — and ambidextrous.
