The Charts

RISING 'STAR' Trekkies -- those in and out of the sci-fi closet -- were out in full force this week, snatching up enough DVDs of the Enterprise crew's latest voyage, Star Trek: Nemesis, to make it the top pick on the sales chart. (The same science-fiction-collectible fervor accounts for Children of Dune's DVD-chart appearance.) Despite the cultish competition, though, Denzel Washington's directorial debut, Antwone Fisher, worked a small miracle, earning nearly as much in DVD sales as its entire theatrical gross. Sadly, Spike Lee's 25th Hour can't make the same claim; though the Edward Norton going-to-the-jailhouse drama did well on DVD, it didn't even crack the top 10 VHS rentals.
