Well, look at it from the other side: If your son told you he was going to marry Jennifer Lopez, you'd be apprehensive, too. But from J. Lo's perspective, her fiancé's mom is the in-law from hell. At least on screen, if the deal goes through. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lopez is in talks to star in ''Monster-in-Law,'' a comedy about a woman who finally meets the perfect guy, only to clash with his meddling mom.
New Line is distributing the movie, which has no director or start date yet. Also no costar, though maybe real-life fiancé Ben Affleck is available. Then again, the couple has already made two movies together, the first of which, crime caper ''Gigli,'' opens July 30.
