Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown hope to put their notoriety to good use in their first joint movie project, according to People. The pair is planning to make a movie called ''Beffy and Charlie'' in which they'll portray a talented pair of criminals. ''We're going to be singing, robbing, stealing -- a lot of things people might not want to see us do,'' Brown told People, without specifiying a studio, screenwriter, or director for the project.
The former New Edition member has actually appeared in at least eight previous movies, including the upcoming ''Nora's Hair Salon,'' which co-stars Tatyana Ali. Houston, whose most famous film role was opposite Kevin Costner in 1992's ''The Bodyguard,'' hasn't appeared in a movie since 1996's ''The Preacher's Wife.'' As for ''Beffy and Charlie'' -- Brown told People it'll be ''special.'' Hey, with both robbing AND stealing involved, we wouldn't expect anything less.
