All About

Anthony Hopkins

After four decades in show business that included a stint as Laurence Olivier's understudy and an Oscar-grabbing turn as Hannibal Lecter, 65-year-old Sir Anthony Hopkins will finally get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. But the path to the Walk was a little shorter for two of Hopkins' fellow recipients of the honor: Britney Spears and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (the twins were 5 years old when ''Silence of the Lambs'' came out).

Also getting stars in 2004 will be Halle Berry, Glenn Close, Kevin Costner, Brooke Shields, director John Singleton, and composer Hans Zimmer, according to a Hollywood Chamber of Commerce press release. Eighties rockers Journey will also get a star (will Steve Perry show up?), as will Nancy Sinatra -- who we just know will leave a bootprint in the sidewalk.
