No plans for ''Good Will Hunting 2: Wicked Smarter,'' but Matt Damon will reprise his ''Bourne Identity'' role. The sequel, titled ''The Bourne Supremacy,'' should begin shooting by the end of the year, according to a Universal Pictures spokesperson. Like last summer's action hit, the new movie will be based on a Robert Ludlum novel of the same name, as adapted by screenwriter Tony Gilroy. In ''Supremacy,'' Jason Bourne's wife is kidnapped, and he's accused of assassinating a Chinese official.
''Bourne Identity'' director Doug Liman -- who clashed with the studio during a trouble-plagued shoot -- won't be returning for the sequel. Instead, British director Paul Greengrass (''Bloody Sunday'') is in talks to take over the franchise, according to the Hollywood Reporter. But fans of the first movie's Franka Potente should take heart -- in the book, it's her character who becomes Bourne's wife.
