Veteran Golden Age penciler Williamson (George Lucas' choice to draw the Star Wars strips) has the kind of bold, retro style -- sort of between Jack Kirby and Frank Frazetta -- that's in short supply these days. If you're fed up with the busy, confusing artwork that renders too many current comics all but incomprehensible, Adventures, with scripts by Harlan Ellison, the late Archie Goodwin, and others, should be just your cup of meat, especially if you're fond of futuristic Buck Rogers pastiches.
