If he ever tires of his day job playing center field for the New York Yankees, Williams has a nice fallback career. The Puerto Rico native proves a mighty fine guitarist -- and composer -- on Journey, an infectious, jazzy mix of Latin-tinged instrumentals; he's even snagged Bela Fleck on banjo and Ruben Blades for background vocals (note the rousing leadoff track, ''La Salsa En Mi''). Perhaps he'll snag a gold record to go along with his Gold Gloves.
