Out of 'Order'
I was reading about summer reruns and came across the statement that Vincent D'Onofrio's performance is all ''hambone camera hogging'' (''Hit and Rerun''). I never watched Law & Order: Criminal Intent until I tuned in one Sunday night and got completely caught up in D'Onofrio's performance as Detective Goren. If it were not for D'Onofrio's brilliant, amusing, quirky, and, yes, gorgeous performance, there would be no point to watching the show. JOANN PHILLIPS two.catz@verizon.net Dallas
Perry Wrinkle
Enjoyed your review of the latest Jane's Addiction CD (Music). However, in rehashing their history, you jumped from their last album straight to Perry Farrell's solo CD. This is a disservice to Farrell and the many fans of his follow-up band, Porno for Pyros, an underrated and underappreciated outfit if ever there was one. fact is, a lot of us were sad to see them go. Comics Belief
May I just say that I freakin' love the comic-book section in EW? I have read EW for the last eight years, and I have read comics for the last 20 years. I cannot believe two of my favorite types of reading material have finally overlapped. You rock! BRIAN ANDERSEN brianwilliamandersen@ hotmail.com Sunnyvale, Calif.
CORRECTION: We pictured the wrong CD cover in our review of Thrice's The Artist in the Ambulance. This is the correct CD cover (Music).
