MOVIES Big Momma, back in the house! Martin Lawrence is close to reprising his role as an FBI guy dressed as a fat woman for the sequel to 2000's Big Momma's House.

TELEVISION ''And now, Mr. Leno, at long last, we come to your riskiest film -- Collision Course, with the great Noriyuki 'Pat' Morita.'' Immortal thesp Jay Leno will become the first talk-show host to get the lapdog treatment from James Lipton on Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio this fall.... NBC is close to a deal with best-selling author James Patterson to develop several of his best-sellers into telefilms.... Sex and the City is almost over, but its stars' careers sure aren't. Kristin Davis will play opposite Matthew Modine in a TNT baseball-nostalgia movie called The Winning Season, and Kim Cattrall (Turk 182!) is attached to star in an HBO movie remake of The Country Girl, in the role that earned Grace Kelly a 1954 Best Actress Oscar.... Nice guys should enjoy Nice Guys, HBO's in-the-works series from Freaks and Geeks creator Paul Feig, about a group of nerdy-but-nice guys fighting for love, but losing out to the same studly jerks who always get the girl. Curses!... It's Last Comic Standing with certified funny people: Nine famous comedians are going to host the Emmys on Sept. 21. Their names are Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Garrett, Darrell Hammond, George Lopez, Conan O'Brien, Garry Shandling, Martin Short, Jon Stewart, and Wanda Sykes.... Okay, Milo Ventimiglia, you never got your planned Gilmore Girls spin-off, but your three-episode stint on Boston Public should keep you busy, especially since you'll be playing an irresistible lady-killer.
