Sharon Stone is likely to get scratched by Halle Berry as a villain in ''Catwoman,'' according to the Hollywood Reporter. Warner Bros. has offered Stone the role of Laurel, a woman who runs both a cosmetics corporation and a criminal organization, the trade paper reported. Berry is playing the feline title role in the film, and would no doubt get to face off with Stone's character.
Meanwhile, Josh Lucas (''Sweet Home Alabama'') is up for the part of Detective Lone, Catwoman's love interest, according to the Reporter. Hopefully his character will fare better than the one who met an untimely demise in his last comic book adaptation, '"The Hulk.''
