All About

Anna Kournikova

Anna Kournikova hasn't had any better luck as a TV correspondent than she did on the pro tennis circuit. After just three days as an ''entertainment reporter'' working the USA cable network's coverage of the U.S. Open, the Russian bombshell has quit, citing her discomfort with interviewing fellow players and the difficulty of getting anything done when she's being mobbed by fans, the New York Post reports. Also, she said, she's been eating too much.

The Post noted her difficulties with the on-air gig last week when one of the paper's reporters spotted her being verbally prompted with questions to ask during interviews. ''They had to keep telling her what to say,'' a USA employee confirmed to the Post. ''She didn't seem to know what she was doing.''

"We'd only contracted for her to work three days and that's the way it went down,'' USA spokesman Tom Caraccioli told the Associated Press. ''Then again, who knows what opportunities will arise for her in the future?'' Well, there's always Enrique Iglesias videos.
