TBA * BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Hmmm...a cheesy '70s Star Wars rip-off that lasted only two years on ABC? It's about time somebody put together a remake! This updated miniseries features four hours of Edward James Olmos fighting robots who are out to quash the human race. [SCI FI CHANNEL, TIME TBA]

12.3 * THE WRONG COAST Pat O'Brien, watch out. AMC's first animated series parodies Access Hollywood and its ilk by giving the entertainment-show treatment to made-up movies and TV shows like Six Feet Undercover Brother and American Booty. [AMC, 10-10:30 PM]

12.3 * CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER Al Roker and Ann Curry stand in front of a really big Christmas tree. [NBC, 8-9 PM]

12.5 * WHOSE WEDDING IS IT ANYWAY? Marvel at the irony of wedding planners who are so busy making others' romantic dreams come true that they have no time to find a love of their own in this reality series. Sounds like a great premise for a J. Lo movie! [STYLE NETWORK, TIME TBA]

12.7 * PLAYBOY'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL Hef throws a party at the mansion, which makes this day no different from any other -- except that tonight's shindig is being filmed and will be interspersed with clips of past parties, highlights from Playboy After Dark, and other touching trips down memory lane. [A&E, 8-10 PM]

12.7 * ROCK STAR DAUGHTERS This E! True Hollywood Story celebrates rockers' female progeny. Hey, they've got 24 hours of programming to fill -- give 'em a break! [E!, 8-10 PM]

12.10 * THE GREAT GARDNER ART HEIST It's kinda like that show last year, Push, Nevada, where a viewer could win a million bucks by solving a mystery. Except this time it's 5 million bucks. Oh, and you've got to use the info in this documentary to solve the biggest art heist in American history, which the FBI still hasn't been able to crack after 12 years of investigation. No problem. [COURT TV, 10-11 PM]

12.14 * DINOSAUR PLANET CGI velociraptors, saltasaurs, and aucasaurs tell their own stories in voice-overs in this special. Well, it's gotta be better than Dinotopia. [DISCOVERY CHANNEL, 9-11 PM]

12.28-29 * DREAMKEEPER This two-part miniseries weaves together the story of a modern-day teen caught up in a Native American street gang and the tribal tales his grandfather tells him. [ABC, 9-11 PM]

12.31 * ANNUAL NEW YEAR'S EVE TWILIGHT ZONE CHAIN REACTION There are lots of ways to celebrate the coming of 2004, but few of them beat sitting down with a six-foot sub sandwich and spending 46 straight hours in a dimension not of sight or of sound but of mind. [SCI FI CHANNEL, 7 AM]
