The Charts

Long Live The Queen

After a summer of lukewarm debuts, this week's charts pick up a pair of big award winners. Best Picture winner ''Chicago'' razzle-dazzled DVD connoisseurs and took the top sales slot. And another Oscar-gilded pic -- Michael Moore's documentary ''Bowling for Columbine'' -- made a fair showing against its jazzy competitor with disc buyers. But neither of these critical and financial hits seemed to make much of an impact on tape fans: ''Columbine'' didn't even crack the top 20 on the VHS rental chart, and Queen Latifah fans clearly prefer her in racially charged comic misfires like ''Bringing Down the House'' instead of shaking her ''Chicago'' moneymaker.
