Resuscitated to take over a slot previously reserved for Robert Klein's now-postponed sitcom The Stones, the series picks up with Bronx doctor Becker (Ted Danson) contemplating a serious commitment to Chris (Nancy Travis). ''Becker has never been in a relationship for which he would even consider changing anything about himself. We've had him in very temporary, convenient, booty-call-type relationships,'' says Hackel.
