Sisqó may not be ogling thongs too much longer. The R&B singer faces potential jail time after an incident on Saturday morning in which he and his girlfriend allegedly fired three shots at a car idling at a neighbor's house, MTV News reports.
According to Baltimore police, the neighbor's brother was parked outside the family house in the suburb of Randallstown at 3:30 a.m., waiting for family members to come outside, when he heard a shot. His wife and a friend rushed into the car, and as the driver pulled off, he heard more shots. Police came to Sisqó's house and questioned the Dru Hill singer and his girlfriend Tera Thomas. They denied firing the shots, but police said they found empty shell casings, a magazine clip, and a 9mm pistol that appeared to have been recently fired. Sisqó (real name: Mark Andrews) said he carried the gun because he had been receiving death threats. They were still repeating the death threat claims and cursing at the cops as officers took them into custody. Sisqó was charged with first-degree assault, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment, and Thomas was charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest.
Both were booked at the Baltimore County Jail. Sisqó was released the next day after posting bail of $175,000. There's been no comment from his camp on the incident. A court date has yet to be set.
