Alleged burglar is arrested at Schwarzenegger home. He allegedly stole goods from inside Arnold's car, then returned the next day

When a federal appeals court put a stop to the California governor's recall election, it was probably the second time this week that Arnold Schwarzenegger felt he'd been robbed. Over the weekend, a prowler reportedly burgled items from his car, then returned to the actor/candidate's home the next day for more.

On Sunday, the Associated Press reports, Los Angeles police arrested Richard Sathianathan and charged him with two counts of trespassing and one count each of prowling, vehicle tampering, and petty theft. In a court appearance on Tuesday, he pleaded not guilty and was returned to jail, with bail set at $50,000.

Sathianathan, a 32-year-old from Toronto with no fixed address, allegedly jumped a fence at Schwarzenegger's home on Saturday and stole $400 worth of goods from inside one of his cars. Security guards detained him, but police said they couldn't arrest him for a misdemeanor because they didn't catch him red-handed. Nonetheless, when he allegedly returned Sunday, police picked him up. Maybe he had he told the guards: ''I'll be back.''
