Debuts by Sting, Dido, and P. Diddy's made-on-TV Da Band failed to cast OutKast from the No. 1 slot this week. The Atlanta duo sold nearly 235,000 copies of their ''Speakerboxxx/The Love Below'' in its second week, once more topping Billboard's album sales chart. Bad Boy's Da Band, which formed on MTV's ''Making the Band 2,'' took the No. 2 slot with ''Too Hot for TV,'' which sold 204,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures released Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Sting's ''Sacred Love'' debuted at No. 3, selling about 195,000 copies, with Dido's ''Life for Rent'' close behind at No. 4, moving 192,000 units. The week's other big debuts came from country singer Martina McBride, who nabbed the No. 7 slot with ''Martina,'' and Bette Midler, who grabbed No. 14 with ''Bette Midler Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook'' (which was heavily promoted with TV ads).
The rest of the top 10 includes Dave Matthews' ''Some Devil'' (No. 5), Limp Bizkit's ''Results May Vary'' (No. 6), R. Kelly's ''R in R&B Collection'' (No. 8), Nickelback's ''Long Road'' (No. 9), and Obie Trice's ''Cheers'' (No. 10).
