Starsky & Hutch

(All Consoles; Gotham Games; Teen)

So how does one attempt to capture the wockety-wock flavor of a revered '70s cop show? Well, Gotham Games gets off to a tire-squealing start by landing Antonio Fargas (a.k.a. Huggy Bear) as narrator, and faithfully re-creating the familiar '74 Ford Gran Torino (a.k.a the Striped Tomato). ''Starsky & Hutch'' is compatible with a driving wheel and a light gun, which means that the game's missions can be operated cooperatively with one person driving and one shooting. And here's the really odd twist: Missions are measured as television ratings that continually drop unless players hit their targets and perform stunts while swerving around Bay City. Now, toss us the keys -- we're driving.
