MOVIES Kim Basinger, who's your daddy?!? ''I'm one of the few dudes on the planet who can walk up to her and say that,'' brags Billy Ray Cyrus, who plays Basinger's papa (in flashbacks, people!) in Joel Zwick's Elvis Has Left the Building, a comedy involving dead Elvis impersonators. Cyrus is so busy with that project and his PAX show Doc that he was forced to turn down a part on ABC's Hope & Faith -- and he's achy breaky about it: ''Can you let them know how devastated I am?'' Consider it done, friend!... X out Vin Diesel for the XXX sequel -- Ice Cube will take the starring role.... Apparently not content until they've cast every famous British actor in the Screen Actors Guild, the Harry Potter movie gang are in discussions with Emma Thompson (Junior) about joining the cast of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
TELEVISION Shannen Doherty has a deal with an NBC-based production company to produce and star in an as-yet-unnamed comedy about a nice woman who's repeatedly mistaken for a badass. Time to set the record straight! -- Gregory Kirschling, with additional reporting by Brian Hiatt
