The hour-long episode of CBS' relocated King of Queens (18th) improved on Amazing Race 3's year-ago performance but couldn't beat NBC's rejuvenated West Wing (11th). On Thursday, Scrubs (9th) checked into its third season with 17.2 million viewers -- dropping off from lead-in Friends (2nd) and struggling against the second half of CBS' Survivor: Pearl Islands (5th). The Chicago Cubs, meanwhile, proved to be ratings champs by beating Atlanta during Fox's Major League Baseball play-offs (14th) on Sunday.
