In a match made in TV heaven, Entertainment Tonight coanchor Bob Goen, 48, will wed Marianne Curan, the host of Home & Garden TV's Landscapers' Challenge, in 2004. It will be the second marriage for both.

WEDDINGS

This time it's for real! On Oct. 11, American Wedding bride Alyson Hannigan, 29, married her Buffy costar Alexis Denisof, 37. It is the first marriage for both.

SPLITS

On Oct. 14, Star Trek's Patrick Stewart, 63, filed for divorce from his wife of three years, Wendy Neuss, 44.... Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, 36, filed for divorce from his wife, Mary, 29, Oct. 10, citing irreconcilable differences.

EXPECTING

Growing Pains alum Tracey Gold, 34, and her husband of eight years, Roby Marshall, 38, announced a third child will join siblings Sage, 6, and Bailey, 4, in May.... Hercules a pop? Kevin Sorbo, 45, and his wife Sam are expecting their second child, to join brother Braeden, 2, in 2004.

CRIME

It's not just a good idea... Rapper Sonny Spoon (ne James E. Maxwell Jr.), 30, was taken into custody after police stopped him for a seat-belt violation Oct. 11 and allegedly found $6,600 worth of drugs and a gun in his car. He remains in jail awaiting bond. A lawyer for Spoon could not be contacted.... Following the Oct. 6 torching of a house that appears in The Bridges of Madison County, Iowa officials are offering $20,000 for tips on the fires that have also burned two bridges since September '02.

COURTS

On Oct. 14, Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (right), 36, won an apology and an undisclosed sum from Brit tabloid The Sun, after the paper claimed that the Aussie beauty was to blame for actor Jude Law's split with his wife, Sadie Frost. Kidman won similar damages July 31 against London's Daily Mail.... On Oct. 8, nearly 150 fans filed a breach-of-contract suit against Limp Bizkit for aborting a July 26 concert in Chicago only 17 minutes after it started. The class-action suit asks for a $25 refund to be issued to each of the estimated 40,000 ticket holders who attended the show, which was cut short when the band was booed off stage for frontman Fred Durst's ''disgusting homophobic and antigay statements.'' The band was not available for comment.... Novelist Michael Peterson, 59 (A Bitter Peace), was convicted Oct. 10 of killing his wife of five years, Kathleen, 48, at their home in Durham, N.C., and sentenced to life without parole. Peterson's lawyer says the author is appealing.... On Oct. 3, a Chicago judge gave R. Kelly permission to begin an October tour despite being indicted on 21 counts of child pornography. He has pled not guilty.... Survivor contestants Dirk Been and Joel Klug are ready for a reward challenge: The duo filed a breach-of-oral-contract and right-of-publicity suit against River Rain LLC and Tim Chey, Oct. 10, in L.A., seeking unspecified damages. They claim they were not consulted about the release of the movie Gone, in which they appeared. Reps for River Rain LLC and Chey could not be contacted for comment.
