''Is this chicken what I have, or is this fish?'' Jessica Simpson, who posed that infamous question when faced with the baffling sight of a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna, may finally have put her confusion to rest. The bubble-headed star of MTV's ''The Newlyweds'' paid a visit to the San Diego headquarters of Chicken of the Sea on Tuesday, where a marketing exec explained the origin of the product's name (surprise -- it's supposed to taste like chicken).

Chicken of the Sea senior vice president Don George said in a statement: ''We hope Jessica will continue to enjoy Chicken of the Sea, and with the new chunkier chunk light, she and other consumers will get a firmer product with larger pieces for the same great taste and low price.'' Ah, ''chunkier chunk light'': the sweetest sin.
