It's not only straight people who have the right to be crazy in love, Beyoncé Knowles says. The Destiny's Child leader-turned-solo act accuses the British tabloid ''The Sun'' of misquoting her as saying that Madonna and Britney Spears' kiss violated the laws of God. ''I have never judged anyone based on his or her sexual orientation and have no intention of starting now,'' Knowles said in a statement on her website. ''I have a lot of gay and lesbian fans and I love them no differently than my straight fans.''
''The Sun'' quoted Knowles as saying, ''I have standards. There are things I will not do,'' the singer is reported to have said. ''I always carry myself like a lady. ... [God] wants people to celebrate their bodies, as long as you don't compromise your Christianity in the process.'' In her statement, Knowles said her remarks were taken out of context. Sounds like she's handled this.
