What A Difference A Year Makes (2003)

Bob Guiney, a.k.a. Bachelor Bob, was dumped via Post-it by his wife of two years, Jennifer. A year later, he was the most popular contestant (albeit ultimate reject) on ABC's ''The Bachelorette.'' The months in between? Dealing with a life-altering knee injury, a 40-pound weight gain, and lots of sessions with a blond, bearded therapist. No wonder Oprah loves the guy. His favorite movie is ''It's a Wonderful Life!'' He quotes his grandma! He cries during Faith Hill songs! Though some of his insights are, shall we say, less than groundbreaking (''I realized that life didn't last forever''), Bob's unaffected tone is charming enough to seduce millions of ''Bachelor'' fans. Not to mention a self-help-aisle squatter or two.
