Paris is Burning

Paris Hilton's ex sues for slander. Rick Solomon says he was falsely accused of criminal acts related to his sex video with the heiress

Paris Hilton and Rick Solomon sure look like they're getting along in the homemade sex video that's circulating on the Internet. But the couple have long since parted, and now Solomon has filed a $10 million slander lawsuit against the heiress, her parents, and her publicist, alleging that they falsely suggested he committed crimes connected with the video. He says that Hilton's defenders hinted that she was underage at the time of the taping (she was actually 19), and said that he ''took advantage of an incapacitated young woman.''

In fact, the lawsuit alleges, Hilton was an active participant in the taping, even saying ''Hi'' to the camera.  ''Hilton repeatedly posed and preened in front of the camera,'' the lawsuit alleges. It goes on to claim that in a portion of the video that has yet to hit the 'Net, Hilton takes the camera into a well-lit bathroom in order to show off her bod in better lighting.

Hilton and her family -- along with Siri Garber, the publicist named in the suit -- declined to comment to the Associated Press. In the suit, Solomon denies having anything to do with the release of the three-and-a-half-minute clip that is now widely available for download on the Internet.
