Singer Meat Loaf was hospitalized Monday after collapsing during a concert at London's Wembley Arena, according to the Associated Press. Doctors are treating him for exhaustion caused by a virus, the wire service reported. A second concert at Wembley, scheduled for Tuesday night, has been postponed.
The ''I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)'' performer had postponed two other U.K. shows last week after announcing that he was suffering from ''a particularly vicious bout of flu.'' He also had surgery shortly before his tour's start, according to his official fan website. A spokesperson for North West London Hospitals told AP that doctors will re-examine Meat Loaf on Tuesday and release more information about his condition.
