Man, she looks like a woman...
Shania Twain: up Close and Personal: Paul Drinkwater

TUESDAY

NOVEMBER 25

9-10PM Shania Twain: Up Close and Personal (NBC, TV-G) Shania's second NBC special takes place in a ''a more intimate concert venue.'' And whenever the words intimate and Shania are in the same sentence, I'm there. Actually, whenever just Shania is in a sentence, I'm there. (I have intimacy issues anyway.)

BETTY WHITE ALERT! 8:30-9PM I'm With Her (ABC, TV-PG-L) The Golden Girl guest-stars as herself, which just goes to prove that she is, in fact, still alive.

9:30-10PM Less Than Perfect (ABC) Owen is put in the uncomfortable position of having to confess to his two moms that he is not gay. Sorta like I was just put in the uncomfortable position of having to write that up.

8-9PM An American Idol Christmas (Fox, TV-G) Apparently, I've been a very bad boy this year, because instead of granting my wish for a Ryan Starr sighting, Santa is siccing the freakin' American Juniors on me! Seriously! In a ho-ho-horrible move, those tacky tykes will be joining Clay, Kelly, Ruben, Tamyra, and Jim Verraros (okay, I'm just kidding about Verraros) to croon some holiday classics. It's like coal in TV form.
