Frodo's Fanhood

Video buyers went after The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Extended Edition with Gollum-like fervor: Just four months after the movie's initial disc release, its new three-plus-hour version conquered the DVD chart. But the game wasn't over for tomb raider Lara Croft, whose Cradle of Life uncovered the top rental spot and stole the third sales position. Meanwhile, box office dud Sinbad managed to sneak into both top 10s, and with Santa Clause 2 in the mix, the holiday season is officially off and running.
