The child at the center of the molestation case against Michael Jackson told investigators in February that the singer had never touched him inappropriately, according to documents posted on thesmokinggun.com. When Los Angeles' Department of Children & Family Services launched an investigation of the child's relationship with Jackson early this year, the child, his siblings, and his mother all told investigators that no molestation had occurred, according to the documents.

The DCFS eventually concluded that molestation allegations -- lodged by the boy's school district after his appearance in Martin Bashir's television documentary -- were ''unfounded.'' The boy, a cancer victim, told investigators that he had never even slept in the same bed as Jackson, according to the documents, which refer to Jackson only as ''the entertainer.'' The boy's mother told investigators that ''the media had taken everything out of context.''

No formal charges have yet been filed against Jackson in the molestation case, which led to his arrest last month. The singer and his lawyers have said that he is innocent. Neither Jackson's attorney, Mark Geragos, nor the Santa Barbara District Attorney's office could be immediately reached for comment Tuesday morning.
