All About

Diana Krall

While the world was wondering whether Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay's Chris Martin had secretly married, there was an actual secret  wedding of a musical couple taking place. On Saturday, Elvis Costello married Diana Krall at Elton John's castle in Surrey, outside London, the Toronto Globe and Mail reports. Costello's publicist confirmed the nuptials, issuing a terse statement that ''[t]he wedding was a private event with close friends and family in attendance.''

Well, yes -- about 150 close friends and family members, including sometime Costello collaborator Paul McCartney and Canada's consul general to New York, Pamela Wallin, the Associated Press reports. It's the first marriage for the Canadian jazz chanteuse, 39, who met the bespectacled British rocker, 48, at the Grammys in 2002. They got engaged this May. It's the third trip down the aisle for Costello; his two previous marriages ended in divorce, including a union of 16 years with former Pogues bassist Cait O'Riordan that dissolved last November.
