Malcolm in the Middle: Fox

MONDAY

DECEMBER 29

8-10 PM Malcolm in the Middle marathon (MTV) Ever had a burning desire to watch Frankie Muniz go through puberty? If so, you're a freakin' weirdo. And it's also your lucky night, as Fox airs a ''Malcolm'' episode from each of the last four seasons, affording viewers an opportunity to watch the title character transform from gawky child to gawkier adolescent. The four eps include the pilot, with that nasty back-shaving scene; ''Traffic Jam,'' which we never saw (sorry!); ''Dewey's Dog,'' in which Dewey sics a Clifford-size canine on his bros; and ''Zoo,'' which has another crazed animal stalking the family -- this time, it's a goat. They shouldn't have tried to shave its back.

8-9 PM Life of Luxury (ABC) Hey, kids: Before ''Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'' was a Good Charlotte song, it was the original ''Cribs.'' Host Robin Leach returns to TV with this new special, which explores the excesses of Kimora Lee Simmons ($500,000 worth of Faberge eggs), Sir Richard Branson (a $30 million private resort), and Sharon Osbourne (she gave all her money to charity. Just kidding.).
