Even as her reproductively challenged ''Friends'' character ponders adoption, Courteney Cox is expecting a child in real life, People.com reports. ''It's true,'' a rep for the actress told People on Tuesday. There were no other details, including the baby's sex or due date.
The child would be the first for Cox, 39, and husband of four years David Arquette, 32. The couple have endured a number of miscarriages and have spoken frequently in recent interviews about their fertility treatments, all the while spinning out an art-imitates-life plotline for Monica and Chandler on ''Friends.'' During a visit to Sharon Osbourne's talk show back in October, Cox's brother-in-law, actor Alexis Arquette, said that the couple were expecting, but they denied the pregnancy rumor at the time.
