In announcing nominations for the 10th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, SAG members ignored several Oscar front-runners in favor of performers in critically acclaimed but little-seen independent films. ''The Station Agent'' earned three nods, including citations for Best Ensemble and stars Peter Dinklage and Patricia Clarkson (she was also nominated for the indie ''Pieces of April''), and ''Thirteen'' earned two, including a Best Actress nod for 16-year-old Evan Rachel Wood. ''Mystic River'' got three nominations, but other big-name hopefuls -- ''Master and Commander'''s Russell Crowe, ''The Last Samurai'''s Tom Cruise, and ''Cold Mountain'''s Nicole Kidman -- were snubbed.

The TV nominations were dominated by ''Angels in America'' and ''Everybody Loves Raymond'' (six nods each), followed by ''The West Wing'' and ''Will & Grace'' (four citations each), and ''Six Feet Under'' (three nominations). Missing were such critical favorites as ''Arrested Development,'' ''Nip/Tuck,'' ''Curb Your Enthusiasm,'' and (aside from Lisa Kudrow) any individual performers from ''Friends'' or ''Sex and the City.''

The nominations were announced by Andie MacDowell and Mark Harmon at a wee-hours press conference in Los Angeles on Thursday morning. The SAG Awards ceremony will air live on TNT on Feb. 22, one week before the Oscars.
