Scott Bairstow (Party of Five), 33, was sentenced to four months in jail for second-degree assault against a 12-year-old girl. Bairstow, who was originally charged with statutory rape, maintains his innocence.

Art Garfunkel, 62, was arrested for alleged pot possession after his limo was pulled over for speeding in Hurley, N.Y., on Jan. 17.... The Larry Sanders Show's Rip Torn, 72, was arrested for alleged drunk driving in NYC on Jan. 13 and is due in court March 18. He did not return calls for comment.... Russell Sprague, 51, was arrested Jan. 22 in Chicago after FBI officers discovered what they said were pirated copies of Mystic River and Something's Gotta Give.

Halle Berry, 37, got clocked by equipment on the Vancouver set of Catwoman Jan. 24. She was treated and released from a local hospital.... Ryan Adams (right), 29, fell and fractured his wrist during a Jan. 22 concert in Liverpool, England.
