The Charts

Titans Of Terror

It was a bloody week for cult cronies Freddy and Jason. While the Elm Street freak and Friday's masked maniac engaged in some serious on-screen comic combat, they also slashed their chart competition, clawing their way to the top. And in other, less bloodcurdling news, Rowan Atkinson's silly spy spoof -- and box office flop -- Johnny English actually outsold Larry David's cranky comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete First Season, which came in at No. 11. Now he really has something to be aggravated about.

THE ACCIDENTAL TOURIST (PG, 121 mins., 1988, Warner) As a daft dog trainer, Oscar winner Geena Davis charms William Hurt's depressed travel writer. And it had nothing to do with liver snaps.

THE CRITIC: THE COMPLETE SERIES (Unrated, 8 hrs., 40 mins., 1994 -- 95, Columbia TriStar) Yet another failed TV show makes it to DVD: Film critic Jay Sherman (played to mocking perfection by Jon Lovitz) takes his movie parodies from one small screen to another.

FRIENDS: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON (Unrated, 9 hrs., 29 mins., 1999 -- 2000, Warner) Remember when Ross bleached his teeth bright white? How about when Joey shacked up with Elle Macpherson? Good times.

GRIND (PG-13, 104 mins., 2003, Warner) Before he was O.C. cutie Seth Cohen, Adam Brody played another overachieving high school senior...who uses his college fund to support his skater dreams. Uh, surely his parents understood.

SIMPLE LIFE (Unrated, 193 mins., 2003, Fox) Hot on the stiletto heels of the reality show's finale, small-town misfits Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie air their dirty laundry - outtakes, unaired footage, and more - one disc.
