CRIMSON BRIDE Bullock is Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year

Pop quiz, hotshot: You're driving a bus, but it's not going anywhere near 50 miles per hour because it's stuck in traffic behind a parade of Harvard students in drag... That's the kind of quiz question Sandra Bullock could be answering when she goes back to school next week. The ''Speed'' star is being honored with the Woman of the Year award by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation's oldest college drama group, and on Feb. 12 she'll be feted, according to age-old tradition, with a drag parade through the streets of Cambridge, Mass.

Hasty Pudding, which has been staging annual student-penned drag musicals for 156 years, has given out its Woman and Man of the Year awards for half a century to entertainers who've made a ''lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.'' (Last year's recipients were Anjelica Huston and Martin Scorsese.) The group's 2004 Man of the Year is Robert Downey Jr. The ''Gothika'' star will get his parade the week after, on Feb. 19, followed by an onstage roast before the premiere of this year's Pudding musical. (Called ''As the Word Turns,'' it's about international intrigue at a spelling bee, the Harvard Crimson reports.) Neither Bullock nor Downey has ever won an Oscar, but at least they'll go home with Pudding Pots to place on their mantels.
