The funk tribute was a memorable Grammys moment
Funk tribute (OutKast's Big Boi, Earth, Wind & Fire, Robert Randolph, Parliament-Funkadelic) ''Funk,'' proclaimed master of ceremonies Samuel L. Jackson, ''is good for you.'' And it was also good for the Grammys. The show's funk tribute -- which brought approximately 10,148 people on stage, at least one of them clad only in a diaper -- was a rare anarchic moment in an uncommonly buttoned-down show. Earth, Wind & Fire (as well as P-Funk's George Clinton and Bootsy Collins, above) are as cool as they were back in the day. Buy your used T-shirts now.
