The Warren Zevon tribute was a memorable Grammys moment

Salute to Warren Zevon, with (from left) his children Ariel and Jordan Zevon, Jorge Calderon, Emmylou Harris, Timothy B. Schmit, Billy Bob Thornton, Jackson Browne, and Dwight Yoakam Usually, nothing says ''tacky'' like a dead artist communing with the living via giant video screen. But the tribute to late singer/songwriter Warren Zevon (who got some long-overdue recognition when he announced last year that he was dying of cancer, and on Sunday night won a Grammy for his duet with Bruce Springsteen, ''Disorder in the House'') somehow found real emotion in that hackneyed format. With an all-star cast singing unobtrusive backup, Zevon's aching performance of his ballad ''Keep Me in Your Heart'' ensured that the audience will do just that.
