Colin Farrell plays a petty hood in the movie this music accompanies, so singing the Bobby Fuller Four's ''I Fought the Law'' made self-indulgent sense. But other than grafting on a hoarse Irish ''r'' -- he fought the ''lawr'' and the ''lawr'' won -- Farrell doesn't add anything to the '66 classic. With familiarities like U2's ''Out of Control,'' the rest of the CD needs more new music (heck, I'd settle for more Farrell) to make it worth buying.
