In Rod We Trust

Rod Stewart's transformation from preening, rooster-haired rocker to preening, rooster-haired lounge singer is officially a massive success; his From Maggie May to the Great American Songbook tour holds five of the top six spots on ''Billboard'''s Boxscore chart. Hot on his tuchis is Bette Midler, whose sassy Kiss My Brass! show is a big draw for diva-loving concertgoers. Two sets of country crooners -- George Strait with Dierks Bentley and Alan Jackson with Martina McBride -- also scored well, bringing some down-home twang to a tony top 15.
