All About
Good Morning AmericaA day after Courtney Love showed her breasts six times during her ''Late Show'' appearance, the Letterman camp has announced the booking of a pop diva who will be going out of her way not to expose her breasts. It's Janet Jackson, whose March 29 ''Late Show'' appearance will mark her first TV performance, first TV interview, and first time back on CBS since her Super Bowl ''wardrobe malfunction'' on Feb. 1
The ''Late Show'' appearance marks the beginning of a TV blitz for the previously reclusive Jackson, whose album ''Damita Jo'' hits stores the same week. On March 31, she'll perform in New York's Battery Park on ''Good Morning America,'' whose anchor Diane Sawyer will no doubt press the singer for another apology to the nation for her wayward nipple. On April 2, she'll be the sole guest on daytime's ''On Air With Ryan Seacrest,'' where she'll perform and submit to additional questions from the ''American Idol'' host. And on April 10, she'll serve as host and musical guest on ''Saturday Night Live,'' where she'll surely show us what a good sport she is by letting the cast make fun of her nationwide humiliation. Oprah Winfrey has yet to book Jackson for a weepy meltdown, but there's still some time.
