Like their forefathers the Flaming Lips, the Silent League are sublime and spacey, delicate and dramatic. League leader Justin Russo conducts a mini orchestra that includes members of Mercury Rev, Interpol, and Grand Mal, and expands on Rev's wide-screen symphonies. Led by piano melodies and stargazing lyrics, it's an ethereal soundtrack to everyday life.
